Summer 2006 Field Season

A much appreciated shelter over the main excavation block

(Season 3 - Excavating British Columbia's first dinosaurs)

The third season of the first B.C. dinosaur excavation began in June, 2006. This time the field crew had a great shelter to cover the work site courtesy of a donation from the Dawson Creek Rotary Clubs.

This excavation did not last the whole summer as there were several other projects, including one large-scale field project, that the palaeontologists had planned.

Working on the block.

Tyrrell Museum Palaeontologist Dr. Don Brinkman visits the site and tries his hand at air-scribing.
