Chetwynd Dinosaur Trackway Slab

Early in 2012, the District of Chetwynd donated a large 9000kg slab bearing two dinosaur trackways to the PRPRC. The slab had been discovered during the process of industrial road building to the southwest of Chetwynd in 2004.

The PRPRC and the District of Chetwynd combined their efforts to develop a substantial outdoor palaeontological exhibit featuring an exact replica the track slab at Cedar Park in Chetwynd. The exhibit was completed in August 2012.
